The chandelier light fixtures in the front Lobby and Bistro were selected to complement
the Art Deco theme. The dimming fluorescent lights help set the atmosphere in the
lobby in various scene configurations. The incandescent fixtures in the Bistro can
be dimmed for a variety of moods and applications.

Soldiers Memorial, Calgary Alberta

As part of the Calgary Memorial Drive Redevelopment Project, the Soldiers’ Memorial
was designed to commemorate the sacrifice of 3000 people from Calgary’s Army Reserve
Regiments who served in the first and second world wars and the current Afghanistan
conflict. The memorial, consisting of six engraved marble slabs illuminated by ingrade
linear LED.

The purpose of the project was to create a 50' inspiration wall that can be manipulated
to change color schemes using LED"s and DMX control. The Markin Hall Grand Opening
was held October 2010.
